Dr. Karen Mills is a 1987 Graduate of Howard University’s College of Dentistry in Washington, D.C. She relocated to Marietta, Georgia from Detroit, Michigan in 1991. She has been in the dental ﬁeld since 1977. She started her dental career as a dental assistant. While working as an assistant, she completed her undergraduate education before entering dental school.
After obtaining her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, she worked in public health, but has spent majority of her career in private practice, treating adults and children.
Dr. Mills has trained many dental assistants. She has allowed students to obtain their externship requirements in her ofﬁce, many leading to full time employment.
Dr. Mills is also a member of both local and national dental organizations. She is passionate about the ﬁeld of dentistry and her ability to help others obtain a rewarding career.
